Miss Amanda began taking dance lessons at the age of 4. She has been sharing her passion of dance and mentor-ship with her students for over 15 years. She has been technically trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Contemporary, Lyrical and has competed locally and on the national level for many years. She is Acrobatic Arts AAC1 certified and has completed Teacher Training through More Than Just Great Dancing™. She continues to study dance education with famous choreographers and educators as she attends dance seminars and workshops across the country every year. She is certified throug Youth Protection Advocates in Dance, and is CPR and AAD certified. As a graduate of the Dance Masters of America’s Teacher’s Training School held at the University of Buffalo, she is certified to teach by Dance Master’s of America and is a proud member of chapter #8.
PRESCHOOL, JAZZ, TAP
Jackie is a graduate of Niagara County Community College with a degree in Applied Science. She has been dancing since the age of 4. Her studies have included Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Musical Theater. Jackie has also taught Kinderdance in the community for 13 years. Jackie completed Teacher training through More Than Just Great Dancing™ and is a AAC1 certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Jackie loves working with children of all ages and encouraging the love of dance. Jackie Lives in Clarence with her husband and two daughters. Jackie is very excited to be part of the Celebrity Dance community.
ACROBATICS, PRESCHOOL, HIP HOP
Angela grew up in Clarence, NY and began dancing at the age of three. She continued dancing on the University at Buffalo Dance Team, and spent two years after with the Buffalo Bandettes, the dancers for Buffalo’s professional lacrosse team. She has studied in tap, jazz, acrobatics, ballet & pointe, lyrical, modern, hip-hop and pom, and competed on the local and national level. Angela is also Acrobatic Arts AAC1 certified. She is currently studying at the University at Buffalo for her Master’s degree in School Psychology and hopes to work with elementary-aged students in the future. She loves reading, baking and of course, dancing! She is beyond excited to meet all the families at Celebrity Dance.
Adeline grew up in Williamsville, NY and began dancing at the age of four. She received her training at Celebrity Dance, where she danced for 14 years competitively in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop. Adeline recently completed her training in Celebrity's Assistant Teacher Mentor Program and also completed teacher training through More Than Just Great Dancing™. She is thrilled to be able to pass her passion for dance down to a whole new generation of students. She will be attending ECC in the fall for nursing, and enjoys reading and writing in her spare time, when shes not dancing of course!
MUSICAL THEATRE, LYRICAL, JAZZ
Nicole studied Theatre and dance at University at Buffalo. She has performing professionally for over 15 years both locally and regionally. Some her past credits include Evita at Tennessee Repertory Theatre. She has performed in over a dozen musicals at artpark, Copa Cabana, Full Monty, Fame, and Swing to name a few. She has worked locally for Theatres such as MusicalFare, Kavinoky and O’Connell and company. Nicole has taught Musical Theatre and Jazz and done Musical Theatre master classes for local dance studios. She has also choreographed musicals for high schools in the area. She is looking forward to working at Celebrity Dance Emporium and teaching new students the joy of dance, acting and singing.
PRESCHOOL, TAP, JAZZ
Madison grew up in Lockport, NY and has been dancing since the age of 3. She trained at Celebrity Dance Emporium in Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theater, Modern, Hip Hop and competitively in Tap. Madison has recently completed training in the Celebrity Dance Emporium Assistant Teacher Mentor Program and is so excited to be able to teach dance this fall at the studio she grew up in. She will be attending Niagara University in the fall for Biology with a minor in business and cannot wait for the start of the dance season.
Angelina began her dance training in 1999 at the Royal Academy of Ballet and Dance under the direction of Elizabeth DiStazio-Waddell, where she had many performance opportunities in full length ballets like Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Firebird. She has also performed in The Nutcracker at Shea's Theater alongside Ballet Met Columbus and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. As a student she was honored as a three-time recipient of the Ginger Burke Dance Scholarship. She was accepted into the Syracuse University Summer Dance intensive in 2007, as well as the Ballet Met Columbus Summer Intensive in 2008 and 2009. Since then, Angelina has worked with several studios and performing groups in Buffalo teaching adult students and choreographing performances. Angelina is always a dedicated and passionate student of her work, taking classes for herself, going through supplemental training programs such as Dance Masters of America, and reading/researching her craft. Angelina is excited to bring her knowledge and skills to share with our CDE Dancers!
Betsy is a Western New York native and started dancing at 10 years old in her hometown. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Speech Pathology. Betsy is currently the assistant director at the Eastern Hills Preschool in Williamsville. She enjoys practicing modern calligraphy, reading, and relaxing near just about any body of water. Betsy lives in Clarence with her husband and three beautiful children. She is excited and humbled to be a part of such and incredible team at Celebrity Dance!
Felicia grew up in Clarence Center, NY and started dancing at Celebrity at the age of 4. She attended Hilbert College and graduated with her BA in English. She loves to play piano, read, is an avid animal lover, and of course loves to dance. Felicia recently moved back to Clarence after living in Parker, Colorado for 3 years. She is excited to be back at the dance studio and is looking forward to meeting all of the families at CDE and getting to know all of you!
